Has the Ole Miss Cheating Scandal Hurt the SEC Image

Most of the other conferences hate the SEC because they win championships. But, this mess created by Ole Miss is embarrassing to the whole conference. Every team.

The SEC's dominance has way more to do with our demographical advantage than it does cheating. The south has dominated football for 30 years now. If you include GT, Miami, FSU and Clemson you will see that this started back in the early 80s and is fully on display now

Recruits hate hearing about how they'll be set for life, during and after school, if they go to the SEC

Teams that go to Atlanta the first weekend of December represent the sec.

Good points. But, Bucky and company want to be like Auburn. Gus has been trying to show him the tricks. It ain't that easy to put together a solid cheating system in one or two years. They missed some details.

Probably, but it should also show it gets punished here too.
UNC got in trouble in the ACC recently, USC in the Pac12, Ohio state in the Big10...
I'm sure someone recently in the Big12 as well. We can point to ole miss to show it gets punished, and can point to the above mentioned programs showing it happens everywhere.
And yes there are other things going on here that aren't known, but the same goes for the rest of the power 5 as well

Only teams that give a damn about the entire affair is Bama (two straight losses), MSU (instate rival) and Arkansas (they resent the rest of the West Teams success) Fans.
