Not sure you understand how the SECN works. Someone watching TCU/Baylor, in Texas, who has UVerse is also paying for the SECN, whether they watch or not. And they are paying a rate much higher than non-SEC states do for SECN.

Ergo, it matters little that all 23 TV sets in Birmingham tuned in to FSU-Louisville.

Birmingham is typically always first in CFB rankings. Having a larger market is not a guarantee that they'll actually tune in. I'm not trying to diminish the additional millions we received from expansion, but saying the SECN was impossible without them is a lie

I have no idea how you got that by me explaining to you how people are paying for the SECN regardless if they are watching it or not

and the fewer percent of large markets is generally worth more than a large percent of smaller markets because more total people tune in with the larger markets even with a smaller percentage

sure it could have happened, but the addition of a&m and Missouri are making the conference so much more money now than if the SEC tried to go forward with the network without us

And I have no idea how you got to that point when the OP started out as, "Has Texas A&M Lost the Momentum they held over Texas?"

But at least recruits will be able to watch LSU football in Texas thanks to the aggies.

Now there's some irony right there.

A&M football, legit points?

Not so much.

I responded to

with

and? the Houston and dallas markets embarrass the Birmingham market
to which you responded to with

even if that was true, it doesn't matter. a&m carries the SECN in texas regardless if people are watching or not
now please, use your swamp brain and tell me how you got to

Because when faced with the truth of how terrible of a position you really are in, you spin it to make a negative sound like a positive.

"Oh, these black eyes? I'm a terrible wife and the children love him."

"We suck, but at least recruits get to watch LSU on the SECN in Texas!"

Yeah, thanks for that, aggies.

so if you knew what I was getting at the whole time, why did you ask me how I got to talking about the SECN instead of what the OP was going off about?

I didn't actually ask you, aggie, I just said I didn't know how you got there. But it's fun watching y'all deflect and squirm and try to project relevance.

Don't worry, LSU's coming to your town soon. And it's gonna hurt.

The irony is that I don't visit the shag at all, ever. I don't follow UT. You guys have such a hard on for them still to this day. Let it go, you squashed the rivalry. You're not enslaved to their money grubbing ways anymore, get over it.
