Ani is the plural of anus. No need for an "s."

Maybe, but his ego would've kicked back in for the championship, jmo. I just think there was so much lost in game than a play caller.

Hurts needs seasoning. And development. Alabama will be fine. The young QB just needs time. The youth caught up Monday. No OC made the difference.

Agree to disagree, now let me get back to having some fun.

I guess Saban is using Battle as a scapegoat for championship loss?

This. Exactly this.
Hurts did a fine job as a true freshman but he still has a long way to go as a passer and that wasn't going to improve in one week before the title game. No OC could make a miracle happen... and we still only loss on a last second play.

Let's disagree. Alabama went 14-1 with a true freshman and no clear cut RB until late. I'm good. So much hope for 2017.

Kiffin made 14-0 happen, that's a pretty big miracle with a freshman qb, it amazes me that bama fans won't admit that Saban finally screwed up. I get it, the guy has made a 1,000 right decisions and it's hard to admit when he makes .01.

Clemson was better. That's not hard to admit.

I think it is hard to admit, because most bama fans don't believe it.

It's nice having someone with stones. Not bitches like Gus and Jacobs. Auburn athletics is a fricking joke.

Kiffin saying no to LSU is one of the best things that could've happened to the team this year outside of firing Les Miles

Definitely, I didn't want him here. He would have just been one and done anyway. I'm glad LSU doesn't have to put up with his immaturity and ego for the short time he would have been using us to get a HC gig.

Yeah. You guys didn't want Herman or Fisher or Chavis or any of the other coaches that left or turned you down, either, did you?

Agreed, but at some point the OC has to make adjustments to his playcalling. Sark was thrown in the fire at the wrong time.

It all goes back to Lane, really. If he had his head in the game, Sark would not have been put in such a tough spot.

In some ways, that is on Saban's Ego. He thought he could reform Lane. But Lane has shown himself to be the same, immature, self-centered man-child he has always been. I do not fault Saban for trying, but you should not be surprised that after you pick up a snake, it bites you.

Lane showed a tremendous lack of professionalism going into the playoffs. The Washington game was subpar and everyone knew it. He put your program in an awful position. With him, it was never a question of ability, but of character. On that issue, he continued to fail miserably, no matter how hard Saban tried to instill some in the little shite.
