I don't think that this is their ceiling in terms of being a good team but record wise, they will struggle to win more than 8 or 9 a year. They had a great class last year and will end up with another good one this year. A&M will take a step back losing Matthews, Manziel and Evans so that leaves room for Ole Miss to move to the 4 spot in the west but LSU will have a better defense next year, Auburn should be better and Alabama will still be good unless Saban gone.

That rarely matters against us. LSU always has a brain fart against us and we play our dicks off.

I actually hope y'all become consistently good so whenever we shite the bed against you, it's not as embarrassing. All joking aside though, if rebel bear can keep recruiting well, and add some depth, y'all should be able to compete on a more regular basis. Things are looking up.

10+ years ago I'd say yes but given the facility upgrades they've made over the last decade or so and with more in the works I think the answer is no. I think they have the same "potential" as auburn or tennessee. they have great facilities but must pull a little more than half of their recruits from out of state to put together a top notch recruiting class.

Nutt won 9 games at Ole Miss. Hootie fricking Nutt. Twice.

Freeze will get us to at least 10 wins once before we fricks it up.

You should put a shock collar on your coach and hit it hard when he calls stupid plays.

As a matter a fact most teams should have this option.
Let the AD control the switch.

They're recruiting pretty well

they won a couple cotton bowls with HDN. I'm not sold on Freesus but he could get to that level of success if at least two of the Bama, LSU, Auburn, A&M programs were down in the West.

If there were only one major university in Mississippi they would be a legit football team that could win the SEC on occasion.

...all while giving away a couple to Vandy and Wake Forest.
