Do we need to start bumping threads from late August?

No need to bump. It was a mixed bag. Some of us expected more and some did not, but knock yourself out. I expected a lot more.

Not really. Most of the Aubies can dish it but not take it.

If we took the LSU thug route and knocked Gordon out of the second half we would have beat them too. Just like LSU would have lost to them if they weren't thugs and had to play Gordon in second half

hg meant for this topic to be a troll but I dunno how. we obviously were a letdown overall.

there was a mixed bag of expectations but I think even the people who were calling for a 9-3, 8-4 type regular season are disappointed because of how bad we looked in the losses. I know I am. did not expect defense to take steps backward like it did.

Sounds like you need to get on our level then.

You are the same guy who talked shite about Auburn all spring and summer and then disappeared shortly after the 41-7 beatdown

Auburn did try to knock out Gordon with the late hit into the trainers table

In any case, I wasn't expecting much out of this season with the bulk of our shitty defense returning from last year. What occurred in the second half of the NCG took a brief hiatus and then came back for the last seven games. I mean the defense was just atrocious where stringing together three consecutive defense plays was DVR worthy. Offense regressed without Robinson and Mason and Marshall isn't accurate enough to take advantage of Duke. Dude can sling the ball to Coates though.

Everybody seems to forget:

South Carolina was ranked #9 preseason
Georgia was ranked #6 in week 2
Texas AM was ranked #6 in week 3
LSU was ranked #8 in week 3
Miss St and Ole Miss were both ranked #3 in week 7

Auburn is merely the latest SEC team to be most disappointing in a season long stream of them. It's like the entire conference was some cartoon buggy going down a bumpy road with teams bouncing out.

With the exception of bama, I don't think anybody can figure the SEC out, including these overpaid coaching staffs.

Good point. Most of the SEC has been very inconsistent this year.

Auburn fans really need to stop with the schedule line. The schedule did not do auburn in. Auburn was 3rd in the country with lowly A&M coming into your house and you lost. Don't blame the schedule. Blame goes to Gus.
