Dunno about 3 in a row. Bama's done it back to back a couple times since 2009.

Dec. 5, 2009 vs. Florida (Atlanta) #1 W, 32-13 12-0 at the time played
Jan. 7, 2010 vs. Texas (Pasadena, Calif.) #2 W, 37-21 13-0 at the time played

Dec. 1, 2012 vs. Georgia #3 W, 32-28 11-1 at the time played
Jan. 7, 2013 vs. Notre Dame (Miami Gardens, Fla.) #1 W, 42-14 12-0 at the time played

Combined records of opponents 48-1 at the time played

if Alabama goes to the title game they will lose to FSU by 24+.

That is blatant wishful thinking. If we win the next couple of games to get to Pasadena, Bama would beat FSU by 14 or more, and tOSU by 20 or more.

FSU would maul Alabama.

You are also wrong about OSU. Alabama would beat them by at least 30. They fricking suck and have been the beneficiary of a fricking easy schedule.

The question outlined in the last sentence of the OP was if either Alabama or Auburn would beat 3 top 5 teams in a row idiot.

For Mizzou to win a championship, we would have to face #1 Bama and then #2 FSU/Ohio State.

We did that in 2009. We beat Florida and then Texas - the top team in the country besides ourselves, two games in a row.

But we were a very different team from this year's Missouri.

Auburn won't get the chance to, regardless of what happens Saturday

No team has ever backdoored their way into a BCSCG.

Except 2003. And 2007. And 2009. And 2011. And 2012.

Yep, unpossible.

Cry me a river - we played Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Missouri and Auburn in a row and Oregon before that

I'm pretty sure the Trail of Tears runs right through Neyland.

We need to take care of business first, and will still need MSU to beat tOSU. Stop getting ahead of yourself
