Well, the good news for you Arky fans is that he should keep you guys in the middle of the pack in the SEC west. You guys seem thrilled with that, so looks like a match made in heaven.

Yes. I doubt Petrino has it in him to recruit as well as Miles, Chizik, or Saban, because he lacks a shitton of interpersonal skills (IMO). However, as a football coach only (not recruiter, etc), he is as good as ANYONE. The man knows football and can coach the shite out of any team he has. Look at what he did at Louisville. Look at what he has done with what is not a lot better than MSU or Ole Miss talent at Arky.
Petrino is a hell of a coach on the field and at practice.

Yeah, cause as an Arky fan, you only measure success as how you perform against LSU. That's tier 2 mentality.
At LSU, we factor in BCS championships, SEC championships, bowl victories, etc.
That's how the big boys think.

Further, Chizit not in the same conversation as Miles and Saban...he "got/obtained"one player that made him look good for one year..other than that he ain't done nothing but lose a shite ton of games in 2 of 3 years.

Ok den. He has only exceeded expectations every single year and pretty much been out recruiting everyone (or just as well as anyone), but keep thinking he sucks.

Yeah, its not the same bc the talent level difference between the teams are razor thin, so if you claim a coach is a great "coach" and not a great recruiter, then that said coach should excel in that situation. Duh.

Yes, because the talent level between Vick and the combo of Leftwich, Redman, and Harrington is razor thin lol.
