will fail wherever he may land a head coaching job.

The only reason he will fail is because he doesn't have the contacts to put together a great coaching staff. He could take the auburn staff but he isn't going to a big name program right off the bat so they won't leave.

although i do think he should extend a job offer to nutt when he gets his shot to be a head coach....

I honestly thought he was the best OC in the business.

I was dead wrong. This entire staff is garbage without Cam. They are good recruiters, but there might never have been a worse gameday coaching staff in the SEC.

On ESPN before the season, they said it would be an outstanding coaching job if AU won six games. Now that they'll win seven, Chiz should be SEC soach of the year.

I think Nutt is one of the best 'game day' coaches in the business...he preaches us against the world like no other. Gus's offense is like watching a retarded kid lick a window over and over.

Gus is a great coach. I think he will end up at Penn State.

Right.. And of course, you'd know as previously stated.

Whoa now. They've done a good job with what they've had but that's a little over the top.

So obviously Malzahn is thinking/negotiating his UNC deal, but what is Roof's excuse?

Anybody with a brain said this was a 8 or 9 win team.

I'm not sure there has ever been a worse coaching job. This team has been outscored 118-31 in it's last 9.5 quarters against ranked teams. The coaching job against SC is the only decent thing this staff has done all year. The rest is, quite frankly, embarrassing to the conference.

He gets the benefit of the doubt this year, the offense is suffering from talent and experience deficiencies. Now if his offense looks the same this time next year, then you could have more ground to stand out regarding this thread.

He's a good OC, but many need to just forget 2010 from an offensive standpoint because that will never be replicated by anyone in a long time. Everyone is gonna expect him to reach that level again, which is very unlikely.

He's very good at what he does, but him being called "the best" was an overreaction caused by Auburn's amazing year. Opinions like that change like the weather, there's a new "Best Coordinator" every year...

The Heels won't go after Gus. I think they look for someone with HC experience.

No flame, I just don't see the hype. Defense has won their games this year. Yes, I realize they're young and will take some maturing, but come on...
