Mississippi State gave Auburn the blueprint to beat Alabama. Alabama's offense is not built to come from behind. In fact, when behind it seems we like to abandon the run which is our strength.

If Auburn gameplans just like State did, they can definitely win this game. My gut feeling, however, tells me that Gus is going to try to come out slinging the ball. I know it's hard to run on Alabama traditionally, but with 4 LBs out, it isn't as hard as it seems.

Will Gus keep Auburn from pulling off what everyone knows they are capable of? My gut says yes, but what do you say?

It's pretty likely, but I'd like to think maybe he's changed his ways the past few weeks.

Auburn has scored 40+ points in each SEC game this year when he does come out slinging the ball. The only time he went run, run, pass was LSU, cause he went Tubershell 2.0.

I'm thinking the talent gap is enough to overcome a gus brain melt in this one.

I hope you are seriously not implying that Auburn has mote talent because that is just not even close to true. Bama has had more talent and better coaches than everyone since Saban has been here.

say what you want but its true.Who would auburn be playing if they were to lose 4 starting lbrs or a starting de and offensive guard? Probably some players way farther down the talent pool than what Bama did.

UGA had a top 5 run D and Gus wasn't scared. MSU proved you can run the ball down Bama's throat. DL is not near what it has been for the last few years at Bama. Their deficiencies were masked by the LB corp of which is now a MASH unit. I don't think Gus is gonna be scared to try to run the ball on the Tide.

You saw Mullen choke the game away. We were lucky to win.

Lol no. Bama wasnt lucky. They were better with a much better and more talented qb along with the D getting stops when it had to.

I don't think we'll come out with any set plan to "air it out". Chip is VERY dedicated to staying as close to 50/50 run/pass as possible. Literally, if we start to stray too far from 50/50, he has a GA in his ear to let him know that we need to be mindful of that. This is his philosophy. Gus made him abandon that when we got up big on LSU. Gus seems to have backed off and let Lindsey make the calls now.

Yeah, they should just fire him before the game and go with an interim. Tubberville is available.

I say you're gut feeling is very possible.

You have the best coach in the history of CFB (in my opinion), so I expect him to come up with a new look or two.Gus could coach a good game and we just get beat by the better team/coach.

I don't have the same feeling as I did for the UGA game, but I think we got a shot.

LSU losses always seem to wake Gus up. He also usually plays Bama tough even when our QBs are crippled both mentally and physically. We finally have a stud at QB and KJ is finally healthy and with our D-Line being so nasty Bama knows they better bring a lunch AND their "A Game."

You gathered that from the 7 minutes we've been down for this entire season?
