That's the kind of hire I expected last time.

The best case for UF if they hire Gundy is to beg boom to stay as DC. Gundy doesn't even watch the defense when they are on the field. That said, UF should be able to do better than Gundy.

Have you seen their defense?...hell, I wouldn't watch them either.

It wouldn't be a bad hire, but it wouldn't be a great one either. UF would get the offense it craves, but D - especially pass D - is an afterthought for OSU and the Bevo-12 as a whole.

Gators would get more bells and whistles, but I don't think Gundy would make them a contender. Besides, Mizzou beat him in last year's Cotton Bowl, so he can't be that good, right?

Gundy would be a really good hire. His Poke teams get out talented most of the time, but they play extremely hard.

That would be an amazing hire. Not sure why anyone would be making fun of it.

If it's Gundy or the field, bet the field.

FWIW, Gundy has done way better at Ok State than Les did. If he was named coach and got a good defensive coordinator, Florida will be back to relevance in no time

Amazing? He's good coach, but, he comes across as a major tool. Therefore very easy to make fun of.

Nobody knows who Foley will hire. Here's a look at the odds from 2010, take a look at who is notably missing.

Dan Mullen - EVEN

Bob Stoops - 3/1

Charlie Strong - 4/1

Kyle Whittingham - 9/2

Chris Petersen - 5/1

Gus Malzahn - 7/1

Gary Paterson - 15/1

Steve Spurrier - 15/1

Dave Wannstedt - 20/1

Jim Harbaugh - 20/1

He's not as bad as other coaches. He seems to genuinely care about his players and is pretty damn good at developing them. Imagine if he gets a good DC and recruiter at Florida. He would be dangerous.
