Thought it would have been good to see a nfl caliner qb like weeden against lsu's defense.

Weeden is like 40 years old.

If anything he was talking about McCarron

All his team had to do was beat an Iowa State team that was fighting for bowl eligibility. Every team in the Big 12 except TTU and Kansas beat them. I think the coaches need to take some credit for coming out flat.

There are 3 really bad losses in the top 10. USCe v Auburn, Wisky v Ohio State, and OSU v ISU.

Don't lay an egg against a team that doesn't have a winning record and you're in. I understand being let down but there just isn't an excuse for that loss. I can understand Oregon losing to LSU and USC or Arky with LSU/Bama much more easily than that game. It was like when USC complained after losing to a terrible Stanford team a few years back.

Then why did he say, "We could see what an NFL caliber QB could do against LSU's defense?" That implies they haven't faced a good QB this year.

Gundy should have called ESPN out when he was on their tv show last night instead of being a pussy and saving it for radio.

Wilson and Murray are both more "NFL caliber" than Weeden...

He had some valid points because they truly weren't given a fair chance on saturday. But, there is no doubt that the two best teams are playing.

How many times did he bring up the fact that they lost to a shitty Iowa State team?

I wish someone would just come out and say it to his face. "Don't lose to Iowa State this late in the season and you're playing in the NC game. Fact."

Potential yes, but current form no.

There is plenty of doubt that the 2nd most deserving team is playing.

I don't dislike Gundy at all but I agree that he should should slow down on insinuating that Okie St would score 36 or 39 on LSU's defense because Weeden and their offense is so superior to anything LSU has seen.

They're a great offense but if I look at their schedule I'm not sure Arky, Oregon or hell even Alabama or Georgia or West Virginia would be putting up some huge numbers against Baylor, Kansas St, Missouri and Texas A&M to name some of their wins that are of such impeccable quality.

I guess he thinks LSU'd defense is no Iowa St.

They seemed pretty clear.
