That said, I still hate this investigation it feels like one guy at NCAA has a vendetta.

It usually pisses people off when they catch you cheating and your response is to keep doing it while you give them the middle finger.

Oh, this is all just a little misunderstanding. I'm sure both the NCAA and Ole Miss are made up of fine fellows who'd buy you a drink if you met them at a bar. Let's not allow this little dust-up to become something major. To the NCAA and Ole Miss, I say, shake hands and simply agree to disagree. Forgive and forget, I say. It's the Christian thing to do.

Well I'm going to play devil's advocate for a moment. What's the difference between Ole Miss and their transgressions and Miss State and Auburn being caught in a bidding war for a certain QB that Auburn won? Volume? Cost? Quantity? Everyone with half a brain knows that Auburn outbid MSU for $Cam and the NCAA and SEC gave the appearance of investigating it but in actuality, gave up when nobody would talk. And that one day declaration of ineligibility and reinstatement within 24 hours was laughable since nobody has ever seen the NCAA move with such haste and conviction before or since. My point is, I think it's a bit hypocritical of some to throw stones at Ole Miss when their real sin here was being sloppy and getting caught, then being indignant about it, unlike some where nobody ever found the bagman but everyone acknowledges he exists.

I love that Cam is still rustling even today. So much wrong in this post, but so little perspective from the poster.

Reduction of the 85 total football scholarship athletes to 70 over 3 years, reduction of coaches recruiting, 2 year bowl ban, 5 yr probation, show cause placed on all involved.

Booster disassociation will be demanded.

This is close to what I think as well, I would just add one more year on the bowl ban and show cause of 2-4 years for all named coaches.

Not trying to pick a fight but...

Proof. The never found where the money was paid out. Allegations and talk are one thing, proof is something else.

They have proof of the allegations against Ole Miss or else they would not have listed them.

How does someone agree with so much of that overwhelming list, and then disagree to the lack of institutional control? If that's fair, then what the heck is a lack of institutional control?

They have to. Admitting lack of IC means Freeze is responsible for it.
