I clicked on the 100 years and noticed that Bama has more "National Champ Points" than Notre Dame. ND has 13 recognized NC's, so I guess the age old question of whether Bama has 14 NC's or not has been confirmed. Well, at least according to this guy

Thanks. Good stuff.

Now everyone can choose which time period best suits their own agenda. I say that the only thing that matters is the past decade. Everything else is not legit.

Only impressive if you don't remember the number of players Bama was allowed to have back in the Bear years. Before scholly restrictions. Typically 2 to 1 minimum I would say. Who's got those numbers?

What, nobody else could have the same number? Or could other teams just not get them like Bama could?

I didn't realize only Bama was allowed to have more players.

And here we go. Nevermind that there were no limits at all. That means, any school could put up what they could afford.

I kinda like that LSU has been pretty decent over the past 100 years, top 20 in all lists. if it werent for the 80s and the 90s LSU would probably be a top ten program in all those lists... either way pretty cool to see all the SEC teams even GT and Tulane are in the top half over the past 100 years

Well, it's impressive once again when you realize other teams were allowed to have the same numbers, but couldn't get them because everyone wanted to play for Bear Bryant...

Did you read your link? That isn't the best winning record. It's a subjective ranking of programs.

I guessed Boise. And they were 33rd.

They are 33rd in the overall score. If you look at just winning percentage (which it isn't sorted by) they are the highest. ( just not higher than schools like Mt Union and Carrol and other ones like that.
