The fact that your offensive coaches were dumb enough to think this would happen twice.......

the fact you think this refutes what I said...... btw, when does A&M plan on beating LSU and their shitty QBs?

lease tell me exactly how going to aTm made Mike Evans, the 6'5" athletic freak, become a NFL WR.

Did Sumlin teach him how to catch the ball? He sure as shite didn't learn an NFL route tree.

Hate to back track so many pages.. However, Evans was green coming into A&M. He was a basketball stud that picked up football late in high school. So yes most of his WR development came from A&M. He is from my hometown. He all thought he would go play D1 Basketball.

Mett came in and played pretty well as a rookie. Cam did a good job with him, IMO. And I don't think college coaches have to prep kids for the NFL anyways. Sumlin has one job- win games. That's all that really matters.

He can't even do that very well.

Well, they're doing better than LSU, who can't even prepare their quarterbacks for college.

problem is, he doesn't do that very well either. Sumlin is good at creating single players at the college level and selling "swag." Selling winning and preparing players for the next level is not on his to-do list.

Meh, He could never beat us, heck he couldn't even score on us with a chavis defense.

Plus, they don't have the same record. It's unfair to Sumlin, because he hasn't been there but a few years. But you can cut Les' accomplishments in half and it's still significantly more than what Sumlin has done at aTm, or any school.

Sumlin may wind up being a great coach. He's a great recruitier, motivator, and seems to have something figured out on offense. But he's not on the level of a coach in SEC west who has won 80% of his games, been to 2 National Championships, and won 1. Les has done more in the hardest division in football than what Sumlin did at Houston.

Mies is 15-9 in the SEC since Sumlin has been coach. Sumlin is 13-11

Not really. Our focus was on more recent SEC winners like Bama or Auburn because beating them got us further along. But this season we made the needed investment to make LSU a real priority.
