20 TDs: 12 Ints

Career. Still not remotely close to the same.

talking about their abilities as passers, not runners.

Now, lets see your predictions for BOTH of them as passers.

"Alright, now let's just cut Dobbs' legs off. Now... Now they are closer to even."

What a joke.

It might discredit Dobbs a bit ignoring his rushing, but you can't compare apples to oranges.

The joke is your fear in predicting passing stats for our QB.

This seems to bother you greatly that both are similar passers so far in their careers. Running QB's can be contained on the ground, so its fair to compare passing ability.

How did Dobbs pass better in 2014 if he sucked so bad in 2013?

Maybe something crazy happened like he had more talent around him to work with and an extra year of development.

I'm sure neither will occur with Lambert.

Holy shite, you guys are grasping at straws. Little tiny bendy straws that are miles and miles away and separated by oceans and deserts.

How? By comparing passing stats to passing stats?

or actually discussing the QB situation

The exact point was discuss the UGA QB situation yet mole and shaft couldn't help himself from constantly trolling.

Do want to discuss his rivals rating? 4 stars and 8th rated prospect

Offers? Bama,UGA,Clemson,Texas,ND etc

I think we all know his stats from a pretty bad UVA team.

He's obviously a bright kid who beat out the heir apparent and another highly recruited kid and he also has a year of FBS competition under his belly.

Last I checked CMR has a pretty good resume when it comes to coaching QB's

Not worried about the position at all this year and we're in a hell of a much better positions had he not transfered.

I predict Lambert will throw more interceptions than TDs, and that he will be benched at some point this season due to poor play.

Which still aren't similar nor are the circumstances under which they have played, the level of competition each faced, the olines they played behind (hint: UVA's was MUCH better than ours) and much, much more.

However, none of that really matters as the comparison is simply a one of diversion, and a spurious one at that, done because Phil seriously rustled jimmies by comparing Lambert to Cox and others poked fun at Lambert as well.

I'm not one that thinks Lambert has to do much for UGA to have a good year but I also think it's naive to think that the QB situation at UGA is ideal right now, especially when Marc Richt condemned Lambert with faint praise by saying (among other things):

"It was a battle that didn't define itself. No one really pulled away and I can truly say, I can't say Greyson pulled away from the pack. They were all doing well in my opinion but he got the nod."

I don't believe that at all, but let's do a ban bet.

Dobbs has more TDs responsible for, and I will ban myself.

Lambert has more TDs responsible for, and you ban yourself.

Deal?

Eta: nice edit, dumbass.

Where was I trolling? And use a capital "S" when you type "Shaft". Matter of fact use a "$" , "$haft".

Seems like that last sentence is pretty damn important. He didn't pull away because Brice was doing very well.

Wow, no improvement at all.

Is that what you said about Dobbs going into last year after he once again got beat out for 2nd string after a poor freshmen season in which he was also 3rd string?

Didn't Dobbs come out against the worst team in the east and throw 3 ints with 92 yards and 0 tds. Go crawl back under that rock in Knoxville and see if you can find his eyebrows.
