Well I can speak for myself. I think most are laughing at the possibility after an extension.

Finally y’all admit Oats is the premier coach. Won’t hate him if he leaves, but I will love him that much more if he stays.

Sports Facilities at Bama are better than UK, all we need is an arena. Why go to UK when going 25-12 is looked on as bad. Better hire Pitino (LOL, JK)

Oats has an 18 million buy out, ain't happening, Byrne is ahead of the game as usual, he probably heard rumors Cal to Ark. was going to happen. Scott Drews buy out at Baylor is like 4 million. I heard Billy Donovan at the Bulls, i doubt the go that route again, but who knows, he's turned them down before.

Actually Auburn fans, Bruce Pearl fits better than Oats. Sean Miller, Dan Hurley. Personally, I would go with Drew.

Best part of this will be the bammer fans mental gymnastics:

Football: we are the premium brand and we can hire anyone in the world we want.

Basketball: Kentucky is the premium brand but our guy loves it here and has all the tools to win he needs. He would never leave.

I actually think Beard is better than Oats and I think he wants the job. The big sticking point with Beards team was the 3 year non compete clause. They knew the ky job would come open soon

Pearl seems like an odd fit. Hard to see that happening. Beard probably needs another year or two to distance himself from the wife beating. It’s gotta be Oats.

Kentucky was probably very close to paying more than that to get rid of Cal. $18M isn’t going to be the deciding factor here.

Surely Pearl is the first choice.

I don't know

Kentucky already has Ashley Judd, I don't think they also want a coach who cultivates murderers

I have faith Greg will do the best under circumstances. The only issue is that it's so late in the game, the obvious up and comers have been snatched up for the most part.

Auburn fans quite literally had one (1) accomplishment they could hold over Alabama's head, making a final four appearance. Oats comes in and in 4 yrs he's matched (some say eclipsed) what the greatest coach in Auburn basketball history has done in his 10 yr stint. But Auburn fans don't care who's coaching Bama.
