So what? Football, the most profitable sport in the United States, sends no one to the Olympics to play that specific sport. Are you saying that doesn't count?

Nice, you win men's best dynasty, and we win women's best dynasty.

Yes, it counts, but 11 consecutive national championships is certainly more impressive than the Alabama football run you brought up.

Not really, especially considering how many schools pump the big bucks into football compared to women's track and field.

Track and Field just isn't as competitive a sport as football or men's basketball.

The irony of an Alabama fan trying to devalue women's sports is pretty funny.

I don't care if Alabama Gymnastics wins a national championship each year for the next ten years, their run won't be as impressive as what we did in the 70s because very few schools actually CARE about gymnastics.

So are you arguing that there is just as much parity in men and women's track and field as there are in football or men's basketball?

That's why those dynasties don't compare to Alabama football's run the 70s. The parity just isn't the same.

No what I'm arguing is that

This statement is completely and utterly false.

If you win 11 straight national championships in a particular sport, that tells me there is a lack of competition and parity.

No, our track program is jus the GOAT.

Arkansas has won 5 triple crowns, only one other school in the history of the sport has even won one. There are great programs in the SEC as well as nation wide.

Just because you don't keep up with it, or do not care about it does not mean it isn't competitive.

False.

I guess Bama's current 3 of 4 NCs in football is due to a lack of competition and parity in CFB.

A&M 1917, 1919.

Undefeated and unscored upon.

Deal with that muther fricker.

Will never happen again. Makes Saban's defenses look like 11 Richard Simmons doing jazzersize.
