Great hire by MSU

Coleman Hutzler, Bama's ST and OLB coach will be named states DC.
1st time head coach, 1st time DC.
What could wrong?
Just hired, Memphis DC Matt Barnes, will be Co DC. Memphis finished 110th in total defense in 2023, allowing 40 pts a game the last half of the year.

What would be more concerning to me as an MSU fan would be that almost all of his connections thus far have been from his 2 years at Ole Miss. Not getting much from his Baylor/UCF or Oklahoma days.

Well I don't know, Lebby has potential, but if I was a AD hiring a first time HC, I would want some experience at the OC and DC levels.

We aren’t hiring an OC Lebby is running the offense. I agree this is a less than exciting DC hire.
I felt good about Lebby but his staff hires so far are questionable at best. It’s not looking promising. And he hasn’t don’t shite for recruiting or the portal yet

He was at Baylor for 8 years, by far the longest he's been anywhere. Why would he not get much from those years? Because of the scandal? Not sure I can agree with that
