Who I normally can't stand but he's pretty spot on.

LSU-Florida will be played but reactions to its postponement have been appalling

What's been appalling is the reaction to last week's postponement. It wasn't about Gainesville, Florida -- at that moment -- looking down the maw of a monster hurricane.
It wasn't about evacuees wondering if they'd even have homes to come back to. It wasn't about possibly playing a game on emergency generators in the face of a mass power outage.

No, the default reaction in SEC country was conspiracy. It was about Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley "playing" SEC commissioner Greg Sankey to retain a home game. It was about LSU AD Joe Alleva all but calling out Florida for not flying to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to play the game.
The SEC loves a good connivance, but the culture embarrasses itself sometime

He's needs to narrow the scope of his ire but yeah he's got a point.

Really liked this part

You don't shoehorn in a game in the middle of hurricane as a competitive convenience to LSU. You don't force Florida players to get on a plane not knowing what they'd come back to.
Conversely, LSU, you don't get to dictate the terms of the game because your stadium is open.

Simpleton arguments with a simpleton solution.

He focuses on the conspiracy angle (which even I agree is dumb) and not on Florida's incompetence.

Then he tries to fault LSU for offering solutions to get the game played acting as if that was all LSU was willing to do. LSU offered all scenarios they could do, but it doesn't focus on what solution s UF brought to the table to get the game played (and if LSU turned any of them down)

You still want Florida to play a football game?

Sankey the Yankee made the right call.

All other teams made it work.

And it could've been postponed to Sunday or Monday and then cancelled then? Or moved to a neutral site? Or anything other than just cancel?

Who is going to reimburse LSU season ticket holders for the cancelled home game? Will cost $30M to refund the ticket, taf fees and parking passes for all ticket holders. Not gonna happen

L5u was just looking for a competitive advantage, they know that a Coach Moeaux led L5u team is gonna need all the help it can get

Also

Fukk off. Who the hell are you to tell people what to do during a fukking hurricane. Get the sand out of your vagina. The game had to be cancelled you maggot.

Did anyone bitch when LSU cancelled the game against North Texas during Katrina? What contingency plans did you have in place then? Why didn't you just go to Texas and play the game? Idiot.

I think he did and he totally outsmarted them. Now UF is winning the PR war on top of probably dictating what is going to happen to the makeup game.

LSU looking scared instead of just manning up and dealing with it. They want 4-6 teams to adjust their schedules because they want to play a home game against a shitty non-conference team that has no bearing on their season.

Laughable.

Except we didn't cancel that game. We played them on our bye week later in the season. Somehow, LSU managed to play every game after having two hurricanes. Played one home game in Arizona, one on a Monday, and one on our bye week

Here is why I find it completely believable...

Foley is a snake... no doubt.

Alleva is more like a mouse.

Snake gonna eat
