UGA fan better hope Ala is in.

I doubt they'd take UGA without taking Ala. I don't care what the numbers say. Scoreboard.

There's not a single Alabama fan that's paid even vague attention to the season that would say we had a quality non-conference win.

What we have going for us is 18 out of 22, 13-4 in conference, 5-2 against the East. The OOC was obviously a disaster.

I'm seriously about to pull my fricking hair out. Why do you bammers always turn everything into such a dick measuring contest? Bama, believe it or not, is the 2nd best bball program in the SEC. I didn't even click on either of your links, but I know that. You don't even have to say "most years", it's like 99% of years. We have annually been an AWFUL basketball team. There is absolutely no need to compare bama's and UGA's basketball history. Seriously...what is the point of that in regards to this thread? What are you trying to prove or accomplish?

And as for this year, despite what you think UGA has a better resume than bama.

I don't see Bama fans saying that Crede. However, why even play the last 20 games of the season if it ends there? We were 5-6 without our best player and another heavy contributor through our first 11 games. No question there were some weak losses. However, ALL of them were on the road (very unusual scheduling quark) and again were with key players missing. I only say that to say that Alabama has clearly passed the "eye test" in 19 of its last 20 games. That has to count for something.

My PERSONAL prediction? Bama needs to upset Kentucky or AT THE VERY LEAST play them super competitively and have other bubble teams lose to get in. I personally think UGA should be IN as well. Bama's 2 wins against them were good wins by Bama over a good team rather than 2 BAD losses by UGA to Bama

My BFF was a Chi O at UGA and I have been there many times.

And, FYI, just because you have "seen" these women doesn't mean a thing.

Peeping through a hot gal's window does not equal pulling tail.

how is that exactly? I'm only responding to people making posts on the topic. I'm not whining and I'm not bitching about losing (like saying things like 'we got screwed' 'this is bullshite' etc.). I know we lost. I think you must've taken a nap and missed my posts for the last hour. I'm not complaining at all, just engaging in conversation about the game/season. Try to keep up.

IMHO, UGA & Alabama should both get in the Big Dance.

Now Bama needs to beat Kentucky!

The impression I got from your tone in this thread was that Bama's resume sucks so bad that they have to win the tourney to even get in and short of that forget about it. I don't think we're far off from each other in our thinking though. You seem to be saying that Bama must beat Kentucky to be barely be inside the bubble. I just happen to think that today's win did that and NOT at UGA's expense either by the way. The only difference is that I think a win over UK absolutely positively no questions asked locks up a bid. (barring 2 or 3 longshots winning a tournament and blowing it for many bubble teams)

We're in the same book but not quite on the same page. I think that bama's awful SOS, RPI, and losses up to this point have put them behind the 8 ball. I think a win over UK tomorrow would put them in great position to get in the tournament. If they lose tomorrow I don't think they have a chance.

Hell we might as well win the whole damn tourney. We have had the toughest road to march madness because of that 8-6 start. Imagine having to know pre-conference you have to go 12-4 and reach the semifinal just to have a shot. Most teams would quit and fall away. But this team has played must win ball for the past 17 games

I'll say this much, then I'm shutting up because I'm pissed: Congrats Bama, y'all beat us twice, can't argue against y'all being the better team. UGA, at this point, won't get in and I don't think they deserve to get in. They've played terrible down the stretch; Gerald Robinson can go to hell.
