There may already be threads about this, but I wanted to say it anyways. I have to feel good for Coker. He may not have a bright NFL future ahead, but it's pretty cool that after waiting so long, he gets his chance as a fifth year senior and leads his hometown team to a national title. In one year he went from afterthought to earning a permanent spot in Bama lore.

That said, I'm still pretty pissed off right now. What are the chances my favorite teams biggest rival hires the two greatest coaches ever?

All I could think about in that post game interview is Elvis Presley.

Good kid and has a bright future ahead of him regardless of how his NFL career goes.

It really sucks when you consider how bad VOLS have been in the last 10 years and in those 10 years, our top two rivals have combined to win 6 national championships

Forget Henry, Coker is the MVP of that team!

Coker will go back to Mobile and own a very successful State Farm agency.

Nope. I don't really like people from Mobile.

Don't know his story that well. He didn't play that great in the pocket, taking too many sacks due to indecision. He made a couple of good throws.

But he did make a helluva play to scramble and dive for that first down when they were down near the goal line. That was a clutch play that his team needed. Well done.

I'd have to say that last night's game epitomized Coker's Alabama career. He has so many short comings as a QB, but he just seems to have the guts and perseverance to overcome them....and it doesn't hurt to have all-world talent everywhere around you!

As a quarterback, I have never liked him. As a person, I think he's great. I am a much bigger fan of a great guy who has mediocre talent but maximizes it and plays with heart and leadership, than an elite talent who is a douchebag (and potentially has chest tattoos and tells everyone that he should be drafted higher).

Alabama fans should be aware of the Good Lord's blessing in this department and be thankful, respectful and humble.

My biggest gripe about our recruiting is we need more kids that want to win at Alabama as much as they want to go NFL in 3 years.

I need to add it's a great day to be a Bama fan.
