You know how I know Mizzou fans are just flat out arse hurt?
Mike Anderson took the Mizzou program to its highest of highs.
-First 30 win season in Mizzou history
-Elite 8, farthest program has been
-Highest win pct of any coach that's stayed at least 3 years.
-1st conference title of any sort in 15 years.
-His senior class at Mizzou has won more games than any other class in history.
These dumb shits will attempt to downplay Mike all day long, but he is one of the best coaches that school has ever seen. He cleaned up Snyders mess and within 3 years won the most games in school history and took them as far as they've ever been in the NCAA tourney. It took Norm Stewart 9 years to get just to the NCAA tourney, and he NEVER won 30+ games.

give it a rest, ben. I have no problem with what ultimate laid out in his recent post. Pointed out some deficiencies in next years team, and stated an opinion. A far cry from his "Mizzou finished behind kansas" and "can't wait til Mizzou returns to shite next year" noise which I commented on.
Surely I don't have to explain the difference. And PLEASE stop with the bi-polar bullshite about "genuflect to Missouri". You've had an all-star performance if Mizzou bashing this evening.

Missouri is having a nice season. Arkansas didn't. But we knew the cupboard was bare. Most of us - cityhog excepted -believe MA stands a good chance to succeed here. His track record suggests that. Frank Haith does not yet have the track record to predict if this year is an aberration or the start of something sustained. The jury is out on both.

When he arrived at UAB, they had been to the NCAAs 3 times the 15 years prior. He never missed a post season there and took them to 3 straight NCAAs including a Sweet 16 and a conference title. They've been to 1 NCAA tourney since he left.

I've only said this like 10 times, but here it goes again. I'm gonna get reemed for this by fans of other teams because it will come across as sour grapes, but whatever.
My problem with MA is his system, YES, he has won at those other places. Key to that point is that was other places and NOT the SEC. SEC officiating is based solely on home cooking. Our aggressive style of D does not play well with SEC refs, which is why I say he's going to have a tough time EVER being better than .500 in this league.
My other problem has to do with the fact that his teams tend to fade down the stretch. He won 1 Big xii tourney title, no league titles. He made it to the Elite 8? So did Stan Heath.
I'm not racist, I just don't believe his system will get us back to a level of respectability unless you consider .500 ball in a crappy bbball conference respectable.

Seriously...about that other thread. I started getting a reaction and wanted to see how long I could draw it out. While I do believe the transitions will be more difficult for tamu and Missouri than y'all think, I don't equate the MWC and big east w the big 8+4-2-2+2. I'm done yanking chains. Hopefully no hard feelings and no harm done.

Did HV go on suicide watch? I've never been on that site. Bo was saying Pel would've won same amount games, I almost crashed the truck. Bo has just hammered Pel all year and today did a 180.
