They played great defense. Not that our offense is good or anything, but outside of one player (Hale) we got completely shut down today basically.
Every time we started getting a run they answered.
The one time we had momentum late, Howland called a timeout and they scored out of it.
All around great game by State.

The play out of the timeout was big but we had the ball down 58-57 and Edwards had an awful turnover (not his only one). They scored and that was pretty much it

gtfo out of here black bear, this is a thread about State and Bama.
Great game bama, I wasn't sure how AJ was going to do as a college coach, but he has ya'll playing well. The future for both squads looks.
I thought bama had a ton of momentum coming in to this game, and this year's state team has perfected snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. These last 2 wins should help state a lot going forward.

Once again, the question of "does a black bear crap in good threads" is answered.
Ignoring the unlettered troglodyte, great game bama.
As others have mentioned, it would be nice for the rivalry to get rekindled again, where both teams were meaningful -- yet still had some bad blood between them.
