We've been missing a combination of 4 of our best 6 players for most of the year. I'm not sure how you think guys are supposed to learn 3-4 different positions and run them effectively. We have Bowers playing PG for god's sake.

I'll give you that you've had a few injuries. But last year was much the same story. Had 3 really good players (granted, not much depth) and were deplorable.

so you expected for Pearl to have a worse record than Barbee did two years in? because he does. seems some crow needs to be served up to the auburn fans tbh.

We've had more than a few. Last year Bowers was playing C. This year PG. Freshmen are starting to play better now, but they weren't early. That's expected. Dunans isn't our best player, but he's easily the most important. I'm not down on Bruce after all the bad luck. We'll be fine going forward.

Harrell, Bowers, and Mason were terrific players. Granted, Bowers is his own worst enemy and has been an enigma at times. But a poor job by Pearl overall so far. He gets a solid C- so far in his tenure. An A- for recruiting, and an F for coaching.

Considering what all he has had to deal with from injuries to Barbee running off every remotely decent player he recruited, I think Bruce has done a very good job. Bruce has had one full class I think there is only one guy left from Barbee. How is this even possible?

Harrell was terrific because he was a lights out shooter. Mason was solid but far from great. Bowers is garbage. He inflates his numbers by getting his own rebounds.
