So Godfrey has sources at Ole Miss feeding him information to put their narrative forth. Godfrey, being an Ole Miss grad, is more than willing to type anything Ole Miss power brokers give him apparently. Even leaked confidential NCAA information. Go ahead and say how he is just a journalist doing his job.

Godfrey and Ole Miss fans have been combative about why other journalists haven't jumped on board with him. Seems they can spot a turd.

Haven't you State posters been citing inside sources on these confidential matters for the last year. This seems like a strange stance to take now. Is it because this time it portrayed your school in a negative light. You guys need to get a grip.

I doubt he is concerned about the personal attacks the MSU fanbase has begun since he wrote an article they don't even dispute the veracity of. They need to relax.

No. A reporter wrote something true that you don't like so your fanbase is at worst making things up and at best digging for very old stuff to try to get him to lose his job.
It's wrong.
It is wrong when Ole Miss fans bring up a certain MSU reporter's past when it has nothing to do with who he is or what he does today.
The reality is that all of this has gotten completely out of hand. Now what could be a fun rivalry has been hijacked by the very worst of each fanbase that care more about the opposition's failure than they do about their own team's success. All who are doing so should be ashamed of themselves.
Sadly it makes the sport less fun for the rest of us and I hope that eventually people can find their ways to a better place.
