No doubt. He had at least two open guys back around the perimeter where the defense collapsed. But they're a young squad. You live and learn.

Definitely shouldn't finish last in the SEC though.

Cute effort by Rick's Boys. I like these young guys...Fulkerson can play.

Up on Wisconsin in 2nd half, OT with Oregon and 2 point loss @UNC. Need to get one. Gonzaga next Sunday is another shot.

Youth really showed for us in last 4. Some terrible shots.

That was a good game Vols. Looks like you guys need another recruiting cycle to add some quality depth. Really like the young white kid that plays down low. Crafty lefty.

We're getting better. We just don't know where to go late in close games when we need a bucket, particularly when we're losing by 1-3. Once UNC finally took the lead I knew we weren't winning.

Getting Bone back will be big. Phillips is not a PG and neither is Turner imo. Turner can be a competent backup but I don't think he is a starter at this level right now. Bone is the most talented freshman imo and I really, really like Fulkerson and Bowden so that's saying a lot.

Need Alexander to wake up also.

Is Barnes recruiting still looking as shitty as everyone says it is?

I think the kid they have coming in next year will really help with rebounding and post defense. Not as skilled as Fulky but about 3 inches taller and the same toughness/tenacity.

Bone, Bowden, Fulkerson, Turner, Williams, Parker, Johnson is about as good of a freshman class as you can have if you are in this position. So much potential and versatility and all guys have a lot of room for improvement.. If I'm Barnes I'm shooting for the stars when it comes to trying to find an elite wing scorer and skilled big with a little more size. They are in very good shape long term at PG and have plenty of shooting and scrappers down low, just need a supplemental piece or two and they are a top 25 type team next year imo.

Rick's got a good group. You may not want any part of this team by March.

Still don't know how UNC won: 39% fg %; 11% three point %; and 54% free throw % Worst shooting night I can remember.

22-7 offensive rebounds definitely helps. UNC is a ton more talented and that showed down the stretch.
