We could not have had nearly as much fun last night with the 100's of threads about us on OMRant... Errrr... I mean SECRant.

As I said last night (over and over), the lack of findings after the NCAA has being living with us for three years means we are golden. Glad Hughey's been doing things the right way in Oxford!

2nd time this has been posted, and it's an article from a guy who admits the only thing he did was read other people's reporting to come to his own conclusion. Sad.

At least those national reporters have people they're actually talking to, and not just reading a bunch of articles and then creating a new one with their own pure speculation.

Chadd Scott has been fired from roughly 4 radio stations, including the main Atlanta station, and spent the first 3 years of the Saban era with a woody for Saban, how evil he was and how Tubberville was just as good as him. He also has professed his love for Ross Bjork since he was at Western Kentucky.

He went on a twitter tirade about Delta for a solid hour because they lost his bag or something from his official 680 The Fan twitter when Delta was their main sponsor.

Surely you are not so dumb that the irony in your statement is lost upon you?

Stop trying to act like this is no big deal..."oh we expected this."
Stop being defensive.
Who is Chad Scott? How in the hell is it a good thing? My goodness at the delusion. People can talk themselves into anything if they say it enough.

Can't dispute anything he says so you try to attack him -- you should get a job in politics.

Oh I'm not disputing anything because unlike most I dont claim to be an expert on the NCAA or Ole Miss' situation. I just know Chadd Scott is a joke.

We can agree on that for sure! A great cup of coffee and the blindness to the obvious irony here certainly makes for a great morning!

Here it goes as simple as I can make it for you, Tusculoosa:

Story A comes out.

Story B comes out.

Then saying that story B doesn't call into question story A because story B didn't elicit any specific investigative details.

And not recognizing the IRONY in the fact that story A did not provide any specific investigative details.

You'll be tested on this later today so study up.

In addition, he is spot on about the whole reason why the "gold standard" in college football is so worried about Ole Miss.

A post I made a few days ago after thoroughly enjoying some of your BOL guy's obsession with Ole Miss:

Guys, it is absolutely hilarious what is out there. It is truly a great day to be a Rebel! We joke about this, but I truly feel embarrassed for the "sane" Bammers and Dawgs (UGA) who are trying to reign in their crazies. I have known (and used myself) the "living rent free in their heads" line, but IT IS ACTUALLY TRUE in this case! We have, of course, been the obsession of our little bully pups for years. However, even that has begun to reach fanatical levels as of late (I will concede that it is much more evident on ED than SPS).

However, my bulldog faithful are not the impetus behind this post because, frankly, elitedawgs' craziness certainly doesn't mean we have arrived. But, as of today, Bama and Georgia are literally ready to pick up their ball and go home because their is a new kid in town who wants to play. Now I must admit, it isn't all of them as there are a few Bama guys (and dawgs) who are trying to reel their "special" friends in from their obsession with us, but it isn't working -- I think that the crazies now outnumber the normal guys. I can't imagine how embarrassing it has to be for these rational Bammers to see their board taken over by these conspiracy theorists (pointing in the sky screaming about strippers, OM bagmen, prostitutes, little red and blue Martians, etc.). Once again, this is BOL that I am talking about, not ED.

Gentlemen, bask in the glory! You have arrived! There is no more proof needed then for the National Champion's to be solely focused on some other team less than one month after they, themselves, just climbed atop the college football world. Remember that it is not just any team that is itching these crazies where they can't scratch... It happens to be the only team who beat them.................... Twice..................... In a row! Every time you see a post about "why would any recruit want to go to Ole Miss" or "who would ever want to live in Oxford" you should pause, enjoy the moment and joyfully realize what is becoming painfully obvious -- they are scared!
I repeat, THEY ARE SCARED!

Once again, I am not saying that about all of them. They certainly have some grounded fans who understand that, in the college football world, every so often a new kid moves onto THE BLOCK. (Florida State, Miami, etc.). That's just the way it works.
And importantly, please don't confuse this to imply that Bama football players are intimidated by us -- they are not! But even they now realize one thing: We are not either!
And without fail, each one of us knows that every single time we see a post by someone who just can't seem to fathom how a recruit would want to come to OM, that poster has just never been blessed enough to get to see it for himself!

There is an analogy that explains exactly what we are witnessing and it has been around for centuries. Simply put, a bully will be a bully as long as others let him. But when a new kid comes in and pops him in the mouth... You can immediately tell everything you need to know about the bully simply by looking in his eyes. Either the bully's eyes will show the FEAR clear as day... Or the bully will respectfully put his arm around the new kid and say, "Dang, nice punch!"

Once again, my fellow Rebels, go read the Alabama message boards because one thing cannot be hidden --

Their FEAR!

You realize that if Alabama feared every 3 loss, top 7 recruiting school that occasionally beat us that we would fear half the league, right? Do you think we fear half the league?

This was not directed at Rant guys. Believe or not, most of you are pretty rational folks and most of the talk on here is smack talk. I can appreciate that. It was only after reading thread after thread on BOL (and on Georgia's board) about Ole Miss and then especially the constant attempts by some others on BOL to frustratingly reign in their crazies that I decided to post about it.

I assume most, not all, but most posters on here recognize that their school has boosters doing things to help insure that they get good players. However, I don't acknowledge that Saban or Freeze are directing these ongoings. As I said, not all Bama fans are the crazies (and every school has them), but if you go and look on BOL, you will see what I was referring to, and no can deny that those crazies were obsessing on Ole Miss. Other Bama posters were saying the same thing as I did, basically, "This is embarrassing guys. Please stop whining about Ole Miss and posting all of these threads about them." Those were Bama guys saying that. Not me. I was just explaining what it meant.
