I think it looks great, but I'm partial to Tiger Stadium. Best football venue I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few.

Nothin like walkin up in that bitch wearing red either.

Also, are the legos on top confirmed to be temporary bathrooms?

Looks cheap with a Lego attached. Could have integrated with the rest of the stadium.

Not temporary but apparently they're going to "re-evaluate" their design after the season.

Honestly, it looks a little small time. I mean the demand for tix must be there... Can't that upper upper deck be a little taller?

Still looks great

They should fire the architect. That's a really bizarre hodgepodge of stuff going on, not harmonious. A well-executed stadium expansion should look like the building was designed that way from the start (see bds). Luckily with all this sec network money you guys will be able to afford to redo

As an outsider, just by looking at the photos, Tiger Stadium on the inside is elite, but the outside IMO really brings it down. Its like 3 different stadiums. I really think that the exterior of Tiger Stadium is what keeps it from being at the top. It's just kinda blah. They could have really made it amazing had they done a complete exterior renovation of the entire stadium. Just my two cents.

It fits South LA and looks awesome.....and they will spruce up that "lego" section.

Can't wait til the season starts.

How does it "fit" South LA?

In the sense that is like gumbo? It is a blend of multiple things?

the lego blocks and the stupid bare wall are fricking terrible. How does that shite happen? A huge expansion project and they barf out that shite. The stupid wall was suppose to be windows and instead we get a giant turd.

However, the inside looks fricking amazing. I just wish we could not half arse a project.

The entire stadium should look like the north end zone. It needs to happen but we have a clown for an AD.

they tried to make it look semi like the north end zone with the arched windows but it doesn't look as good. Honestly though the blank wall pisses me off more than anything else. its just big, stupid and was suppose to look nice with all windows but then they just frick it all up.

I don't like it. It looks cheap. Too many of these new stadium additions/renovations simply believe adding a layer of brick, etc will fix the ugliness of the stadium (see UT). Harvard, Yale, Ohio State all have good, seamless stadium that have a feel of permanence and stature to them.

I think if LSU were to respend their money, they first should have cleaned up those stained concrete ramps to the upper deck. That large off-white box doesn't go with anything, and it's not nice enough to stand alone as a 'feature'. There is no 'language' across the stadium at all. The lower decks, upper decks, addition, and 'lego' are all aesthetically different.

Yes, I do have an architecture degree from a nationally top-ranked SEC school.

Exactly

Not very appealing on the outside but the inside is yummy as hell
