Honestly, I think Southern runs the option better than Tech does.

O:Much improved. Receivers suck. Line is okay, but not great. RB's play well.

D:Line has been sucky but Autry seems to finally be getting it. LB's are good. DB's are solid.

Playcalling:Crappy on both sides

ST's: Punting is awesome. Everything else not so much.

Offense: very very good. Not much I would gripe about but the scheme itself prevents eating up a clock when needed.

Defense: salty against the run for the most part. Pass d is better than expected but still gives up the long ball too much. Getting better, and looking forward to next year with more depth coming online.

Kicking is a problem spot. Cost us a game with LSU.

How many guys do you lose on the Oline after this year?

A good team but not a great team. Top 10? Considering the alternatives to take that place, sure, top 10.

Likely one. Possibly two.

I think it will be one loss. Matthews will probably stay.

Defense: A+
Offense: F

The good our defense does is negated by the wormhole that is our offense. We struggle to score on FCS teams. Our O-Line is going to be hurting after FSU. But our defense is awesome

Offense: Oline inconsistent at first, played much better in the second half of season. Fluker also has improved on pass block. Questionable playcalling at times.

Defense: Best run defense, our front is usually immovable. Lack of pass rush unless blitzing, which leaves our secondary vulnerable if its picked up. Secondary is still pretty good. Poor tackling happening much too often. Sunseri should be on sidelines in obvious passing situations unless hes blitzing.

ST: Punting is improved, FG kicking improved as well. Punt return is meh and kickoff coverage is still shaky.

We are an offensive juggernaut and I just wish we had some defense to go wit it

I'm honestly quite pleased with the defense.

As the season has progressed, they've gotten more hawkish in getting turnovers too.

Still needs improvement but it is better than any Aggie would have imagined.

Clearly we are a National Championship caliber team and lack nothing from a talent and depth standpoint. Our obvious coaching superiority doesn't even merit mentioning and has left Petrino an afterthought. I attribute our 7 losses to the obvious poor SEC officiating and early kickoffs.

Seriously...we are incredibly fortunate to not have had many serious injuries on D. We'd be fricked otherwise.

In my honest opinion, this is the main difference between the SEC and other conferences.

Yes, the SEC has some fantastic players. But where I think the SEC really separates itself from other conferences, is in the quality of depth at lots of positions, and on both sides of the ball. In other conferences you consider yourself lucky to be deep at a single position.

Just my opinion, but I agree 100% with what you said.

I give a lot of credit to our S&C coach, Larry Jackson. Our guys are in incredible shape, and injuries have been few and far between. The recruiting we have been doing will get us the depth we need.

Good enough defensively and on special teams to hang with or beat anyone in the country. Bad enough offensively to allow inferior teams to hang around.
