Cincy is pretty much a Southern city.
The airport is in KY.
It's a safe bet that the Reds are the most popular MLB team in the Bluegrass State and the bengals are the most popular NFL team.
but Bleacher Report is correct in saying that Wildcat Hoops is the most popular sports team in the state. By a long shot.

quote:I think its because football is split almost down the middle for football fans but almost all Baseball fans and alot of Bama and Auburn fans pull for the Braves. If there was only one team in the state it would be football hands down.
Braves for Alabama proves that is shite.

Meh, living in Fayetteville is pretty awesome actually. Very few places I'd rather live on a full time basis. I can always go to a bigger city to catch a pro game if so inclined. It's actually kind of cool b/c everyone here roots for all sorts of pro teams so it makes sports bars interesting on Sunday/Mondays during NFL.
I give zero fricks about NBA, and I'm a Cubs fan in baseball so there's that

No way in hell that's accurate. ESP Louisiana and Alabama.

I wonder what Florida would look like now that LeGoat is gone? Marlins? Hurricanes?

It absolutely sucks. I'm from Arkansas and since coming to Louisiana for college, I love having a pro team(s) to root for.
Can't wait for the LSU/Alabama game this year & the Saints/49ers game on Sunday. Heading to both

A lot of that is because Arkansas is the only major college program in the state with no pro teams close by. In South Carolina the college football fans are split between Clemson and USC. But both pull for the Panthers (mostly, at least).
They do???? For every100 Carolina and Clemson paraphernalia I see, I see maybe one thing about the panthers. I honestly think they're NC's team.

No way the pirates are searched for more than the steelers.

No. Hate the NBA actually. If I had to pick it would be the magic sadly.

the braves for Alabama? don't get me wrong I love some Braves baseball, but who the frick did they survey... Alabama football is what makes the state wake up everyone morning. Without Alabama paul finebaum wouldn't have a job. we don't want that
