LSU fans are obsessed with these players? Umm, no. Landon Collins, Cam Robinson, Joe McKnight, and Greg Robinson you have a case. The others are just guys that LSU fans wanted and didn't get. I'm not even sure LSU was after Cam Sims very hard.
And lol at DeAngelo Benton. LSU was forced to turn him down for Rueben Randle, so it's pretty laughable trying to put him on the list.

Why is that weird? We don't like our best talent leaving the state and like to monitor how they do elsewhere.
To me that's not very weird, especially for kids we recruited really, really hard who ended up going to a division rival like Speedy Noil.
shite, its not just Louisiana kids, but all kids we recruit really hard that we think we're getting and don't. I like to know how they do in college out of curiosity.
5 for 5 did work out incredibly well for us though. Speedy and Gerald both flamed out rather quickly and Jamal Adams has been a fricking monster making us forget Tony Brown.

Yeah this list is hilarious.
Benton was turned away for Randle, Lacy was assumed a non-qualifier no one was counting on, Duke had very good reasons no one blames him for, and no one gave a shite about Robbie Green
Speedy, Gerald, Joe McKnight, Cam R, etc. are legit guys LSU fans continue to follow because they are Louisiana boys we really wanted and they went to conference opponents instead.

This probably manifests in LSU fans more than others because we have no in-state competition and are used to getting the majority of top players in the state.
It further fans the flames when they choose SEC opponents, especially SEC West.
If Speedy went to Oregon, I doubt we'd care nearly as much. He wasn't close to as heralded as a Joe McKnight or something like that.

I don't think he was referring to me, I think he was talking to the guy that was following Willis on twitter.
I live in Algiers and was told that info about Gerald/Speedy last night and was just passing it along.
