Richt is 1-9 against top ten ranked teams since 2008, with the lone win coming in ‘09 against #7 Georgia Tech.

2-9. He beat South Carolina 2 weeks ago.

We did indeed. I thought he was just talking about at home, but you are correct. I think we can agree that the 1-9 statistic was a lie.

I don't see why its that surprising. 2009-2011 were Richts worst teams at UGA . Makes sense that we didn't have a good record versus good teams.

2011 was supposed to be a ship for you guys if I remember correctly? If all goes the way it's supposed to this year and next in recruiting.... This Tiger team will be pretty damn good!!! I def don't see bama doing much to get in our way! This team should be a top 3 team regardless of QB, I'm hearing he's not a bad back up either! Neither one of them! Can't wait for this game, I think LSU will surprise people, 45-21 LSU!

As a LSU fan I'm worried about how the LBs and our secondary tackle... that has been an issue so far this year. They are still young and this is a big boy game where mistakes will show up.

you don't...we had just gone 6-7 and lost to UCF the year before. No one was predicting a championship.

Ahh..if only UGA played like they did against North Texas versus us...of course they won't. We haven't played anyone TCU was absolute garbage lost to Texas Tech. No quality wins plus out Defense has given up yards in air and we still can't find our 2nd corner we are a little vulnerable in this one. But hey at least UGA is just as bad I guess

You are high if you think LSU walks in Athens and blows Georgia out and only gives up 21 in this contest. If we win we gotta play great on defense

Both teams are very good offensively but both have shown a little shakiness defensively. So I am fully expecting an offensive slugfest with LSU's D making just enough stops or a big turnover to secure victory.

I posted the link, those stats went up to October of 2012, and yes, you did beat Florida, but you also lost to Alabama, that game wasn't listed either obviously

I thought garrison was a junior, I stand corrected.

UGA's defense has 1 senior.

I think you're right, and the main reason is the fact that LSU is 62-3 in the first quarter so far this year. Then Les takes the foot off the gas.

I think he won't be so quick to do that at Georgia. But at the same time I think Gurley is gonna gash us a few times. I just don't think anyone can stop a guy that damn good every time. And I think Murray will get his as well, but you can bet your arse Chavis is going to be blitzing him hard. You either get pressure on him or he cuts you to pieces.

I just don't think we've seen LSU's best game yet and I think that first quarter stat is a big indication of that. But this game... it's on. You don't half arse it between the hedges and expect to get out alive.

Not high...... And we will see I guess? 45-21.... Shut Gurley down BF he gets it going and secondary played well in the auburn game just didn't challenge the ball in the air! They were there! I think K Beckwith plays more and K Alexander as well. We play a complete game and throw the ball more than expected with that not so good secondary! Mett made some mistakes and we dropped wet deep balls. Defense played well against the big backs that weren't as shifty, it's those shifty ones that get us. Lack of depth does bother me a bit in the 4th quarter though. I just think Cams game plan and this D will step up huge in this game!

In 2014, I expect UGA to have a premier defense.

What is this based on? It's certainly not based on Grantham's history at UGA.

You act pessimistic or realistic about Georgia's chances in tomorrow's game, and then predict something for next year with no way to back it up unless of course premier means something totally different to you.

What is premier? 2009 Alabama, 2013 Florida before players started getting hurt, 2011 Alabama, 2011 LSU, etc.

Come on, hasn't that been the excuse for the entirety of Richt's tenure.

If they are not there yet, they never will be.
