Unless you face another defense that is young with no experience

Its easy to see your teams weakness because you follow it so closely. People who haven't watched every snap of LSU have seen the highlights of how good the Offense is. We are much better and more balanced than we have been in a long time. But with that said this is our weakest defense we have had in 5-6 years as well. Linebackers have trouble sideline to sideline. DL isn't getting the push we have in the past. Secondary is very talented but young. Every team in College football has weaknesses. Its the nature of the modern day schemes and scholarship limits. It will come down to penalties special teams and turnovers. Anyone predicting a blowout or has a ton of confidence either way is a homer or just full of it. This is one of the most even matchups of the year.

"People who haven't watched every snap of LSU"

Those same people that thought Les was a River Boat Gambler a few years back, then people realized after 1/9 that he wasn't.

The secondary isn't near as talented as in years past and a lot of LSU fans were counting on that. I told people the DL wouldn't be what we were accustomed to. The defense will probably get better but it won't reach the level of the past few years this year.

Well there's simply no way to say that. There's nothing to say they are definitely better now, and obviously no one knows who is the better team this weekend.

I would agree with this

How any team with no defense and piss poor special teams can expect to beat a legit top 5 team is beyond me and almost every single sports analyst too... can't wait to see it unfold exactly how such a match up should.

Almost everything you said about UGA can be said for LSU.
This. You could substitute LSU for UGA in your entire post and nobody would have a legit argument, IMO. I do think OBJ and Landry are better receivers, but UGA has more good (proven) receivers, and has done better offensively longer...earned their rep as a good offense.
Thing is, we're a lot alike. Both lost a ton on D, next year will be much better on D, but will be going into next season with unproven QBs.

It is amazing how much these two teams mirror one another. Georgia's offense is a tad better, while LSU's defense is the stronger of the two but just a bit. I think LSU has the best pair of recievers in the country and the tiger's O-line is much more talented. If Mett has enough time, there is no way Georgia can cover the tiger's receivers. LSU 44 Georgia 38

So we're changing two parts of the question now.

So, now I see all of two Top-Ten opponents we've played in Sanford Stadium since 2008(Since you chose not to include 2013 South Carolina). None in the same season.

This will be the difference that will allow LSU to slowly pull away. People are over reacting to the LSU defense's play so far. We've seen UGA's defense play a full game, but you've only really seen LSU's play three first quarters. I don't think they're world beaters, but they will be good enough. The game will never seem out of reach for UGA, but LSU will win convincingly barring a pick6 or special teams score making it a bit more lopsided.

I ain't saying shite. I have no idea what to expect. Dawgs could come out sky fricking high and be a totally different team and pulverize us.

But they could have blown their wad against USCe and get steamrolled.

There could be lots of mistakes by us. First road game of the year basically.

Could be a evenly matched well fought game.

Have no idea. No fricking clue who wins.

Appreciate your honesty, but Ga has played the toughest schedule of any sec team so far, I believe that will have them ready to play a very talented LSU. Expect both teams to deliver us a great game.

LSU's stable of top shelf running back talent. Mettenburger will have all the time in the world in the pocket because Grantham refuses to rush more than 4 against 5 great offensive linemen.

But Cam won't make a difference. Les runs the show and LSU's offense sucks....

Glad yall are finally catching on

Been a long off season
