I have a feeling we're going to run a train on UT after the shite that happened last season.

Georgia didn't actually play Tennessee. The ravaged shell of what was Georgia a few weeks prior played Tennessee last season.

UT gets up for Georgia every year as they do Bama, we won the game last year but I believe it cost us three losses later on...

P.S I hope we beat the shite out of UT and somebody sucker punches the OP for making this shitty thread.

Y'all say whatever you want. The past two years I heard day in and day out how UGA was going to run train on UT. Did it happen?

And I love when UGA fans bring up injuries in last years game. Even with all of your injuries, your roster was still deeper, more talented, experienced, and faster than ours was perfectly healthy. With the exception of our o-line, We were starting a team of FR, RS FR, SO, and RS SO. And it took you a fumble out of the end zone in OT to finish us off.

That still is true, but "50/50 toss-up" right?

Yes, just like last year. And the year before.

You really think those were toss-ups going in to the game?

Logically, no.

As a UT fan, yes.

On paper, y'all were supposed to destroy us, which you didn't. In fact, we played you to the wire both times. Which, if you recall, was my point in the first place. It doesn't matter what's on paper, the game is played on the field.

Yeah, but we had something you didn't. Todd Grantham. If you overlook that, I have to take your analysis with a grain of salt.

I would also argue that games from previous years have no bearing on future years.

UGA is just as like to destroy UT as they would be have been had those games been blowouts. The fact that they were close games in 2012 and 2013 is totally irrelevant to 2014.

I've got UGA with 1 loss. Their schedule sets them up really nice. Most of their tougher games are at home (USC on road) and are spread out and no Bama( they got another year avoiding us) no LSU , get the worst SECW team as their road game with Au at home. UGA gonna wreck shite in the east this year.

You underestimate Grantham. Granted, he did have the better talent, but he can fail to coach up a unit with the best of them.

I can see where you're coming from, but I have to disagree with this. Saying last years game has no bearing on this years game would be assuming that this team has no memory of last years game. Think about how the players attitude is affected by a close loss like last years. Not just UT, mind you, but think about something like the iron bowl last year. You think bama players forgot about how that kick return made them feel, and won't carry that emotion into this seasons iron bowl?

Grantham went from a DC at a prominent school to a DC at another school. Dooley went from head coach of a prominent school to a WR coach at a nfl team after a call from daddy Vince. One of those is essentially a lateral move, one of them isn't.

You mean like a team that watched their ability to compete at a high level be torn away from them? Pun intended. Maybe a team that watched their teammates fight through months of rehab?

I really think all that stuff is overrated. Either a team is talented and motivated, or they're not.
