Holy shite I forgot about Caleb King.

not hard to do. He never could quite put it all together, and was definitely a disappointment over the total of his career. Even worse is the fact that we went on an incredible run of RBs after him.

Parkview, then GAC.

His junior year he was the #1 RB ahead of reggie bush. He was absolutely incredible. Then he tore his knee up pretty bad and ended up transferring and didn't have quite the same explosiveness.

I feel like Parkview and Brookwood have fallen off as the football powers in the Atlanta area. I remember watching Frenchie when he played for Parkview. That guy was a legit QB but made the right call by picking baseball.

back in the 90s and early 2000s it just didn't get any better the brookwood/parkview. Man what a great rivalry back in its day.

I know Parkview doesn't have the population it oncw had...not sure bout Brookwood.

Tho old principle at Parkview is now principle at Archer BTW.The doesn't mess around when it comes to athletics.

Dunno who you were watching, but Jeff never played QB at Parkview. He was a WR/DB with an offer to Clemson.
Parkview went undefeated when Jeff was there 2000-2002.

Parkview and Brookwood have fallen off because the demographics have changed. Parkview could probably go undefeated at cricket now.

Parkview has over 3000 kids this year. It's not the Jimmys and Joes... it's the Patels and Ho's.

Inside source says a JV QB just set a school record passing in a recent game, so maybe they'll come back.

I was like 11 when I watched him so all I remembered was he was awesome. They were playing Uncle Chuck Whitehurst and Chattahoochee. He was pretty stellar under center for them.

Nice. Alabama would counter with:

2008 - Glen Coffee/Mark Ingram
2009 - Mark Ingram/Trent Richardson
2010 - Mark Ingram/Trent Richardson/Eddie Lacy
2011 - Trent Richardson/Eddie Lacy
2012 - Eddie Lacy/TJ Yeldon/Kenyan Drake
2013 - TJ Yeldon/Derrick Henry/Kenyan Drake
2014 - TJ Yeldon/Derrick Henry/Kenyan Drake
2015 - Derrick Henry/Kenyan Drake/Damien Harris (next 5 star up)/Bo Scarbrough (next 5 star up)

Most teams would love either...

Great thing about the SEC tho is that Arky & Auburn can make a legitimate arguement just as much as we can over that same time period...

As for LSU...inept passing games for most of the previous 8 years doesn't mean your run game qualifies as the best.

Maybe but I believe they won State in baseball last year so they must have some good athletes still going there.

Moreno, Crowell, Gurley....all are in the NFL. 2 were first round, first running back taken picks at that. Hell Caleb King could of done good his Sr year, but was academically in eligible. Our Oline has never been great either, so these guys are doing more with less.
