WTF? Their attendance is a complete embarrassment obviusly along with the fan base.Screw them.
A&M and Mizzou are big state schools that add TV viewers.GT has nothing to add in regards to viewership.

Me too. We played tech every year until 85 and it was a great game. Schools an hour and a half apart. We've played them more than a lot of our west brethren. We only have a 28-21 lead in the series.

Does arrogant fricking Bobby Dodd, fricking Saturday Evening Post liars, Darwin Holt-Chick Granning, poisoning the SEc well and burning their bridges ring a bell?
Frick GT, and their fricking entire whisky bottle throwing, fricked-up fans and their fricking town that deserves another fricking visit from General Sherman.
I'd rather have a sister dating an Aub than taking up with a mother-fricking yellow jacket, and believe me, I do NOT want a sister anywhere around an Aubie.

The only college with a major football team within an hour and a half of GT is UGA. Dude is high.

Georgia Tech is not a good fit academically and culturally with the SEC. Never was really, and the differences have greatly increased in the 50+ years they left the conference.
Today, Georgia Tech is more similar to a private, elite STEM university vs. a large state university/land grant institution that dominates the SEC. Heck, a good 33-40% of Tech's student population has little to no knowledge or interest in American football.
