Wow Chaney is the best Georgia could do. I've been unimpressed with the Georgia hires. I think they are overrated as a program.

Inept offense scoring points under Chaney. Major fourth quarter struggles and inability to have consistent offense after the scripts to start a game or half.

He gets a lot of love for the Drew Brees angle at Purdue but he wasn't DBs position coach. Only OC and OL coach or TE coach at Purdue.

Ohhhhhhhh. Who gives a rat's arse about Chaney. He is horrible. I guess Bert handcuffed Chaney at Pitt as well......

Not disagreeing, but just to play devil's advocate on the Pitt side... they did lose their Jr. RB James Conner 8 carries into the season (ran for ~1700 yards the year before). Turned a freshman RB into a 1k yard carrier. Passing stats don't look horrendous, but overall not impressed with this OC hire. Glad to steal Pittman but this seems like a horrible "cost of doing business".

Pittmans move has yet to be confirmed. 1 website is reporting this. I'll believe it when I see it

If we sign Eason then Chaney will have more talent to work with overall on offense than he has ever had other than in the pros. I am underwhelmed to be sure, but without knowing how the staff is structured I can't fully comment. Maybe he won't even call plays? Maybe we have a different QB coach? Who knows..

Chaney coaches from the booth.

Good luck, Georgia!

Kirby must not have learned all that well for master nick. Saban makes good quality hires for his assistants.

Better than Schotty? Maybe Maybe not.

Cheney's Pitt offense finished one spot behind Shotty's UGA offense in total offense this year.

Pittman good. Cheney somewhere in the meh to bad range.

Also, if an opposing teams elevator gets shut down, halftime adjustments are frickered.

Guy can't take the stairs....no shite....see Auburn game last season.

Post less. Kid may be phenomenal, but to say that he'll definitely be better than Brees is asinine.

Unpossible... who else would do it given that Smart is a defensive coach. Also, Radi already reporting that Chaney would be OC/QB coach, and given his background, this makes the most sense assuming we are actually hiring him.

Having to hire Chaney to get Pittman is a steep price to pay. Good luck Georgia.

You do realize he coached Brees at Purdue, right?

I hope Chaney is your QB coach like he was at Arkansas. He was god awful! Pitman is a great hire, we wish him the best!

Chaney can't coach QBs. It's no coincidence BA struggled under Chaney, then comes out like an all American after he leaves
