You don’t get it.
14 citations and one death for reckless driving or racing should bring attention upon the program.
Stop blaming the media.
4 is kids being stupid. 14 is a cultural problem and apathy of the law by the team top-down.
Did you ever watch Remember The Titans?
Kirby is the daddy. Act like it.

I didn’t know where the speeding ticket was, but the parking violation was in Athens and that’s what caused the arrest.
I’m just curious as to how they know he was the one who parked the car? Aren’t most cars registered in parents names in the title and tag, because 18yr - 20yr olds don’t have any credit.
So unless they ticketed him in person, I’m not sure how he got the warrant or actually received the initial parking violation. Maybe he did, but I receive violations all the time for my sales staff, because the cars are registered in my companies name, they have no idea who was driving.
Just curious.
The published reports state the speeding ticket was written on I-85 in Franklin County, and the reports reference the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
A state Uniform Traffic Citation isn't simply left under the windshield wiper like a parking ticket. It is written to the person operating the vehicle.

If anyone doubted that Georgia was the new Big Man on Campus, their lax discipline and overlooking of ethical behavior required to push them over the top is on display ala prime Nebraska, Miami, Florida State…

He was clocked going 90 miles per hour in a 70 mile-per-hour zone.
20 MPH over the speed limit on a highway?
What a thug! Life in prison!

The arrest wasn't for speeding, it was failure to appear/pay for a parking violation.
In a handicapped space. Classy.
If y'all knew this, why did you try to make it about speeding?

I mean...this might be true, but the only place I have seen this is from a discredited media story and an Auburn fan. How do you know the number of tickets?

It's a cinch Tennessee does not have a fixer. Shall we go over all of the stuff that has been going on at Tennessee in the past 20-25 years non stop?

He's stupid af for not paying when athletes get fricking paid now. He could afford it and we all damn well know it. It wasn't going to break him the way it would someone struggling just to buy groceries.
This is true.

Because it's off-season on tRant unfortunately.
That said, Kirby probably wants to kill the kid for ignoring the ticket until a warrant was issued. I can't remember who it was but Auburn had a dumbass do that several years ago over parking tickets iirc.

I'm sure he does. And most Georgia fans are tired of it, too. I mean, I have gotten a ticket or two in my lifetime, but I learned and now pretty much go the speed limit everywhere. At some point they will have to learn. Just a guess? I suspect Kirby will make them run until they puke to get the message across. At least, I hope he does. As has been demonstrated it is dangerous and puts innocent lives at risk.

However, this dude is at least the 14th cited for reckless or racing
False. The 14 number presented by Marc Weisczer, the writer of this story, and well known hater of UGA for decades, includes regular speeding too. The majority of those 14 are garden variety speeding, not reckless or racing.
