Couple of issues addressed in this thread:

1. ATL sports talk radio is now dominated by Falcons/NFL. It's discussed year round (they've been discussing the upcoming draft nonstop for 2 months now). Georgia/SEC football (+Clemson and FSU) is in 2nd place, followed by the Braves and everything else (including Tech).

2. While we all love to make fun of Tech's Big Bang Theory student body, and relatively small footprint in GA, they're not Georgia's or anyone else's little bro. It's a world class engineering and STEM university whose graduates have the highest starting salaries for all BCS schools (this includes, obviously, Stanford, Northwestern, Duke, Vandy et al).

Yes they most certainly are. The whole "little brother" thing typically just relates to sports. AU has a world class vet school, does that mean they aren't alabama's little bro just because of that?

Nobody denies that tech has great academics. But when it comes to sports they are absolutely our little bro, even more so than auburn is bama's.

Amen, WG. Losing record vs. UGA in every sport they have (except for men's b-ball).

1-12 vs. Mark Richt

1 win at home vs. UGA since the Gulf War broke out.

I guess I give "Little Bro" a broader definition than merely athletics.

If you're speaking of football only, clearly Tech is Georgia's younger sibling. As a Georgia resident, I've watched every UGA vs. Tech game the past 20 years so I'm well aware of the Dawgs' dominance.

And most were before 1925ish. I guess we should all be envious of Princeton for what they accomplished around the same time period.
