So you don't see the difference in a college kid, or any kid for that matter, smoking a little weed and a kid having enough smoke that he is charged with intent to distribute?

You DO know he stole from his teammates, too, right?

Wow. Now he is a first time offender!

As was Odell Thurman at UGA. It isn't happenstance that Odell Thurman was the last guy that was given a second chance at UGA after being kicked out.

Yeah but Odell Thurman was allowed back to finish his career at Georgia. Robert Baker was kicked out of Auburn and he was never allowed to return

I'm failing to see your link showing Auburn fans that are excited to see another player get arrested.

At Auburn, he is a first time offender. Yes.

This isn't the criminal justice system.

ETA This isn't about Nick smoking a little weed. It's about a UGA player selling weed.

Tell me...how many Auburn players have been kicked off the team for weed?

Any Auburn player who has pled guilty or been found guilty of felony intent to distribute has certainly been kicked off the team

If Auburn covered up so much criminal behavior, you think it would manifest itself after the players left. However, I cant think of many or any Auburn players that have gotten into serious trouble in recent years after leaving Auburn.

Michael Dyer?
Varez Ward?
Mike McNeil?
Just three off the top of my head. not saying Auburn is worse, but don't paint Auburn as being lilly white.

Maybe not, but with Mincey, Marshal, Demetruce McNeal etc. it is beginning to look like a justice system. Look....I'm only commenting because Auburn fans want to start threads trolling us. If you don't start something, then nothing gets started.

Have any been kicked off when not convicted of a felony of intent to distribute?

Are you a fricking moron? What was covered up about any of those situations? Auburn reported the Veraz Ward situation themselves when they probably could have easily covered it up. Nothing has ever been announced, but I personally believe Micheal Dyer was facing some type of discipline issue at Auburn and he decided to leave rather than take his punishment

You have a thread about Nick's citation on your own frickin' board. I just looked and don't see one about your pot dealing bball player. The guys you mentioned were all kicked off the team within hours, except for Nick. How the frick is that "covering something up"?

Did you say Todd Gurley was arrested?

No? A basketball player?

I know I respect a man selling dope more than I respect a man who steals from his teammates. In fact it isn't even close.

What about a man who steals from his fellow students after he beats them unconscious?

It's in the stickied basketball thread, but most on the UGA board don't care about basketball so it's not going to get much attention

Anyone who has ever spent longer than 5 seconds lurking on the Georgia board knows it is an anti-Auburn board as much or more than it is a pro-Georgia board

Nick Marshall is a former Georgia player. His incidents will generate interest on Georgia message boards. I'm not sure why that's notable

AUBURN, Ala. — A major contributor to the Auburn defense will no longer be with the team. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn dismissed safety Demetruce McNeal, the Tigers' leading returning tackler, Saturday afternoon, only hours after McNeal was arrested for possession of marijuana.

You never obsessed over Mettenberger to that degree when he was at LSU and you don't obsess over the Ty Flourney Smith Kid now that he is at Alabama either.

It has been 6 or 7 years ago, but Auburn had a player flunk out of school, spend a year in juco straightening things out, and then finished his career at Ole Miss. Our fans never spent much time worrying about the fact that Ole Miss had taken a player who flunked out of Auburn even though we play them every year
