Both are good universities. You seldom hear alumni from either school saying they hated their experience. Most have fond memories.

UF typically does better in rankings if that matters to you. Georgia is not far behind though. The acceptance rate at UF was 38% this year, so it's pretty selective.

I enjoyed UF's campus when I lived there. I'm sure Georgia's is nicer, but you won't hear any complaints from UF students about the campus. It's pretty nice. The overall atmosphere is great. If you can't enjoy yourself there as a student, then you probably have personal issues. It's brutally hot in the summer and early fall, but otherwise the weather is pretty nice.

There are tons of resources available to students looking to get internships in the summer and jobs after graduation. I got a pretty good education there and a great job after graduating. UF grads are in high demand, depending on the major.

Some cons: Parking is bad, UF gives out lots of parking tickets, traffic can be bad, parts of campus get congested when class lets out.
