I was in Gainesville at the time and I can't remember anything like this on a large scale. Of course I was drunk a lot too so I don't remember a whole bunch anyway. Sounds good though so keep running with it.

I never said whether it happened or not, I just shared the story. I have no idea if it's true or not. I just know it's believable and makes UT fans seem like even bigger pieces of shite than we already know they are.

I wouldn't put it past any team's student section to chant some less than cheerful words. I do not believe that the whole group of UT students, much less the entire fan base present at the time, chanted what has been rumored.
I can't find any evidence that it happened so if it did, it was probably isolated and therefore meaningless. I'd chalk that up to the ignorance of youth and more than likely intoxication.
UT fans are like all other fans, they have 98% great people and then they have their 2% that embarrass the rest.
That's totally different than calling out the entire stadium as the OP did last night.
It certainly has my alter wound tight to where he's generalizing a few 2%ers to the entirety of UF fans.

It's okay, you'll be banned before you can troll too many of my posts. If it makes you feel any better, I wasn't there so I don't know if the story is true or not. There's probably some elements of truth to it, but to what degree, who knows.
I'm sure in real life you're a pretty decent guy to be around so I'll just chalk it up to you trying to be an Internet tough guy and troll. I'm sure it'll be a good game this weekend. If you come to the Swamp, enjoy the stadium, the city, and the game. Most of us will be friendly to you guys.

it is a matter of historical record insofar as the date the game was played AND when each team had bye weeks - can any UF person offer up any proof that the Gator administration asked to reschedule? Because THAT part of this story is really easy to believe, in fact, I can hardly imagine that UF would not have made that request
