I don't have 127 "kids" like Pinkel but I support the 3 I have. Both the AD and Pinkel didn't know (or wouldn't comment) on discussing this guy actually dying of starvation but he unconditionally supported his "kids". If my kids asked me to die on hill over an issue they support, I would know everything I could possibly find out about the issue.

I watched the whole thing.

Pinkel is a mealy mouthed pussy.

I used to actually respect that pos.

May he not win another SEC game ... that would be a proper karma kickback for that motherfricker.

"These players are my kids." Bah fricking humbug.

Two-faced, backstabbing Pinkel has ruined himself for any other decent head coaching job, methinks.

I'm still trying to figure out why so many people in this forum, especially Mizzou fans are upset at the football players? Everything I am reading, says that the president lost the confidence of faculty and students. I read where his chauffeur ran over a protester with him in the car trying to evade issues (WTF?). Then even the Governor said that he was negligent. Then there was a vote of confidence and unanimously, EVERYONE in the administration said "no confidence". That is pretty damning.

The only people I see taking up for the president and somehow blaming the football players are random ranters on the internet. I have not seen one person that actually goes to Mizzou say that he didn't deserve it? Interesting???

Did he have a chauffeur? Did he run over someone? Why was it mentioned?

Okay, Driving Miss Daisy didn't run anyone over. What about no one supporting Wolfe??? Except you guys of course.

Ask the people perpetuating the lie.

They apparently blocked his car at some event and one of them was "nudged". None were "run over" however. That would be all over the main stream outlets don't you think?

That's all.

I don't really believe half of what he said, but he knew to take any other stand would be career suicide.

I just saw video of a lot of Mizzou students, of all colors holding hands, in solidarity. They were all cheering that Wolfe is gone.

Pretty damning.

But you're right. I don't have a clue of what is going on there. I don't live there. I don't know anyone currently attending Mizzou. I see a lot of Mizzou fan posters here but not one that actually goes to school there??? But what I have seen is that every Mizzou poster in this forum has shitted on their own players. Calling them dumbasses, race baitors, clowns, lazy, not deserving of scholarships, etc. Some of them have spewed some hateful racial tones not even worth repeating. It's pretty clear to me that that state is fukked up.

But, those of you that are shitting on Pinkel, have you considered that Wolfe might have been the problem? Like I said, I don't know. The guy might have been a saint. BUT Not one person in that entire administration took up for him. NOT ONE. That's pretty hard to do. People are dancing in the streets like when the Wicked Witch of the West was dead. DING DONG.

you are not kidding either,, it was complete and total crapola,, the kind pinkel is used to spewing in front of the media every week, but this isn't coach speak over his lame football plan.

quote:

Gary Pinkel is too fukking stupid for words:

some of his quotes through the last 48 hours:

Pinkel "not concerned something like this will happen again."

Pinkel: "Are we going to have players walk out of games? I've been doing this a long time and it's never ever happened (before)."

..well it's happened now because of you, you fukking moron.

Pinkel: "My support of my players had nothing to do with anyone losing their job."

you can't be that stupid, oh wait, if you're gary pinkel.. yes you can.

"I got involved because I support my players and a young man's life was on the line.""

Pinks apparently now believes his football team "saved a life".

Pinkel: "It was about supporting my players. I did the right thing, and I'd do it again"

anyone that stupid that is supposed to be a mentor for young men should be fired immediately.

Pinkel you are an embarrassing stupid arse retard and you are far too stupid to even realize it.

I've always liked Pinkel. The guy is just trying to coach a football team. Leave him out of this.

"privileged" former student here and I volunteer, I've already sent in my cancellation of the TSF with a letter stating that a Gary Pinkel coached program will never again be supported by me.

The Doctor is

If Pinkie wanted to do the right thing and save his job he should have contacted the Dr. I would have helped him out.
