He gave Lsu some love as well. Said he's covered a lot of Byu and that they field some mature men on D. He think Lsu is legit. Auburn as well but he hadn't seen stidham really play yet.

Bentley is a rare culmination of someone who has both the mental and physical gifts to be special. Very heads up player

I agree he has the attributes to be a good one, although I am afraid that his inexperience in recognizing backside blitzes may break him before he matures.

I dunno.
He's got a lot of potential for sure but he's got a long ways to go before he's polished.
What Bentley does seem to do very well, where he shows a lot of maturity, is in his decision making process. He's beyond his years there, no doubt. But he's still a little awkward with his mechanics. He'll smooth out between this year and next. Kid is gutsy though and he moves in the pocket really well. Reminds me of Steve Taneyhill in that regard. Taneyhill grew up with brothers and a coach for s Dad as well.
I think the kid at Ole Miss is the best in the league right now. I forget his name but what I saw of him - he's the full package.
The Fromm kid at UGA too - he's going to be really good.
That kid at Tennessee is not bad either. He just needs some games under his belt. He's got some scrambling skills too.
LSU's QB, can't remember his name either, but the few times I saw him throw the ball he looked fine.
Bama's QB is a different type of QB than those others.
Oh, and the kid at Arkansas, he's maybe more polished than any of them.
And the kid at Mizzou ... good gosh, you gotta be better than average to put up his numbers. He's probably underrated right now honestly. He can play.
They're putting too much hype on Bentley too early. Just MHO.
This league has a lot of good QBs right now. Maybe the best group top to bottom in years with the exception of Florida ... which just blows my mind.

We've all listened to Gary Danielson on the CBS broadcast right? So we know he's a tool.
How many times last season did he rain accolades on Jalen Hurts instead of Jake Bentley? (hint: every time bama was on CBS).
Maybe he should wait till closer to the end of the season, after more QBs have a "body of work". If not, and you're basing it off of last year. At least 2 QBs are better than Bentley.

I think Bentley and Shea Patterson are the 2 best in the league. The SEC is so deep at QB this year that you can make an argument for any of them
