This doesn't dispute that he sucks in run defense.

Just watch tape, dude.

I did see him bench press Field Yates 25 times. I think he is legit.

I'll take the opinion of Pro Football Focus over your biased opinion.

Maybe I'm not seeing the link when I google around, but this is from PFF as well

quote:

Biggest concerns: Can get caught upfield in run game
Doesn’t always see crack block coming
While much improved against the run, still has to prove it against NFL offensive linemen
May never be a great run defender
Has not had many opportunities to hold the point in the run game, more of a penetrator/disruptor

I'll take the miles garrett that I saw with my own eyes. The dude can't hold his own at the line of scrimmage against the run, at least not against good olines. I don't give a shite what football focus says. He got dominated. Nfl coaches will run right at hI'm I promise you that.

PFF also said LSU had the best OL in CFB last year and that was complete horseshite.

I'm not biased when evaluating football prospects. I don't care where Myles Garrett went to college.

I've looked everywhere and I'm not seeing this ranking he's talking about.

Similar to the choking out of the LSU TE, I'd like to see a link.

Wtf do you think any lsu player that goes to the nfl this year or the ones that saw lsu dominate his arse say? Hey coach run the ball right at that pussy. That's what they're going to say. He may want to rethink meeting up with lael collins again like he said in his interview. He may want to work on beating blocks by our tight ends first.

His own article didn't praise his run defense except for saying it was improved. And that's 90 days old. More recent PFF articles have quotes from NFL scouts.

Again, I agree he has the physical ability. But there's a reason run heavy teams dominated TAMU. They, including Garrett, didn't shed run blocks very well. It was pretty obvious. Guice had huge holes all over the field.

His bias really gets in the way of reality

Garrett will not be great if Cle drafts him

Yep. I'm kinda bummed out we don't get to push him around next year. I wish he would stay in school so we could dominate him again. Lol

he's got skates on

That bad. He drove him all the way to the sidelines.

Like you even read it

quote:

After grading at a solid 79.4 against the run in 2015, Garrett did take a big step forward in 2016, finishing at 87.8 to rank third among the nation’s edge defenders. That’s the type of improvement we wanted to see,

Extremely atrocious linebacker play. Glaringly obvious since 2013.
