Aggies at the Texas state capitol doesn't remotely compare to going out of state and taking over the oppositions capitol. It's just asking for a response. We live in a stupid time.

If you want to "walk on the grass" or wear your hat in the MEMORIAL Student Center that's your choice of course. It isn't about Aggies though or some silly tradition. The MSC is dedicated to the thousands of Aggies that have DIED serving our country in war. The "sacred grass" is a few feet from our plaques of 8 Congressional Medals of Honor that Aggies have earned in service to our nation, several of which were earned with their lives. The building itself is filled with the names and actions of service members who died for ALL of our freedom.

So walk on the grass or wear your hat if you like and when someone yells at you for do so know it is you who are disrespecting a memorial to dead soldiers. There are plenty of Aggie traditions you can make fun of without disrespecting those brave men though. Personally I would find it far less offensive if you took a leak on the statue of the 12th Man though, that's just a football thing.

Kind of like the disrespect your yell leaders showed last night when making jokes about Sherman burning down the city that many died defending?

Why are the cheerleaders dressed in painted overalls? Did they make them in aggie fingerpaint class? No wonder UT was happy to rid themselves of you.

Don't reply to me with this shite because I'm certainly not a redneck. I'm not from Texas of the deep south. I did see plenty of rednecks during my time in Texas though.

I'm starting to think that Angie fans are rapidly closing in in the bammers as my least favorite in the sec. Those guys in the painter outfits are embarrassing .

It's 2014.

I have no problem saying I don't care about the racists who died in the Civil War.

At least some good came out of it.

A thousand or so South Carolina fans that had never visited or knew where the state capital was now know how to find it.

Boom!

So you're saying I shouldn't wear my jean overalls to the game next year, lest I be confused with an Aggie cheerleader?
