You do know what "shut down" means right.
You do know your quotes are actually play by plays of things going on during yell practice??? Therefore nothing is shut down?
We were there. It went from beginning to end as it always does. Would have been better if the band was here.

I was honestly hoping for Vandy. About the same level historically as Carolina but Nashville every other year? Yes please

Pretty much, do your yell practice at your "sacred university" before you go to the visiting city. They deserved what USC gave them.
And for those of you calling USCe "USClite", I'm pretty sure USCe would beat USCw any day nowadays.

We do that, too. We yell on campus before road games and then in the visiting city. Always have, always will.

If you want to "walk on the grass" or wear your hat in the MEMORIAL Student Center that's your choice of course. It isn't about Aggies though or some silly tradition. The MSC is dedicated to the thousands of Aggies that have DIED serving our country in war. The "sacred grass" is a few feet from our plaques of 8 Congressional Medals of Honor that Aggies have earned in service to our nation, several of which were earned with their lives. The building itself is filled with the names and actions of service members who died for ALL of our freedom.
So walk on the grass or wear your hat if you like and when someone yells at you for do so know it is you who are disrespecting a memorial to dead soldiers. There are plenty of Aggie traditions you can make fun of without disrespecting those brave men though. Personally I would find it far less offensive if you took a leak on the statue of the 12th Man though, that's just a football thing.
