He's not a bad guy other than being your typical The State newspaper douche ... which no one ever reads.
He's also very liberal - a liberal sports journalists are the worst kind of liberal journalists.
So consider his vote a vote of civil disobedience.

No but he writes for the same paper. Gamecock fans have had issues with that paper over the year because they seem to get a thrill on being as negative as possible towards the Gamecock program.
eta: Not sure why, maybe it's because they're in Columbia and they want to try hard to not appear biased that they end up being biased against us.
