Our first game of the year. One I'm about ready for some football. Two I am interested in seeing how our offense does now that we have an OC who probably won't call quadruple reverse throwbacks inside the five yard line.

Now Sulli, you know there ain't nothing wrong with a quadruple reverse inside the opponent's five-yard line. That's just sound, fundamental football right there mmmhmm.

So, Ole Miss is the defending Super Bowl Champ?

Yes, they won their Super Bowl for the first time in 10 years. Stormed the field. Proceeded to queef away the rest of the season and make nothing of it. Bama wins SEC Title.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Our first season under Freeze, we were first in the SEC in red zone scoring. Last season, 13th

No no, toe the company line, son. Alabama beat themselves against Ole Miss, not the other way around.

My big 3....

Miss. St. on a Thursday-We've never had a thursday game that I can remember, and I can't wait to see Dak in person. Could be a big matchup too.

BYU @ arrowhead- Return to KC. Apparently Taysum Hill is the real deal. Mostly venue.

@Arkansas-Final game of the reg season. Will likely be a huge game. First trip to fayetteville for Mizzou.

I feel your pain. Speaking of offense, any changes for Ole Miss this year? I was surprised by how little they ran the ball last year in crucial situations.

That Miss. St. at Mizzou game is a HUGE draw for a Thursday night. Two ranked teams in an interdivisional tilt is good stuff.

We return all five starters on the offensive line so I'd expect to see a lot more running. Additionally, we have two SEC "size" RBs to tote the rock.

We ran for 220/game in 2012 so I'd looooove to see a stronger run game. If we can get slightly above average production from the run game, our QB will have a much better time. We do have two of the best play action and deep threats in the country to rely on so that is a good thing to keep in mind.

Early season against Les. Yes please.

Les is 40-4 in Aug/Sep games at LSU. That's a win ratio of 91%. Not sure if early season is an advantage against him.

My top 5 in-order. Every conference game is HUGE.

UT we shut their big mouths for the fourth straight time.
FL I love beating those guys.
@UGA we owe them one.
@Ark will be nice to lock-up the division for the 3rd straight year in their house.
MSU s/b ranked teams on a Thursday night game.

Curious to know, as a milquetoast Midwesterner, what are your thoughts on the Southern football experience in Athens?

milquetoast - frick you. You pompous know-nothing.

Mizzou invented the homecoming game. We love college football wherever it is played.

I remember that Athens "football experience" back in 2013. It got darn quiet after Mizzou scored a sack-6 on the UGA QB then won the road game.

Then, I remember last years shellacking in CoMO.
