Either Leonard or Hurts goes off and leads their team to victory, they'll be in the thick of the conversation. Jackson has a firm grip on it as of right now, but he doesn't have a lot of spotlight games left.

Absolutely. If Fournette were to shred Alabama and LSU were to win, he'd absolutely be back in the conversation.

It isn't going to be happen though...

Don't see either one going off in this game.

You don't get it. If Fournette went for 200 and beat Bama, he'd be all anybody talked about next week. With games coming up against Arkansas, aTm, Florida, and possibly a SEC championship. Hurts is currently in the 5th position on Bovada. He would still have games against State, Auburn, and probably a SEC championship, too. Y'all forget how things can change in November. To say it's not possible is ignorant.

We didn't see last season's game coming, either. Just saying.

Any rational LSU fan knows it will be a fricking miracle if Fournette get to 100yds let alone 150 or more.

Definitely. He won't win because of all the missed time, obviously -- voters love cumulative stats -- but he'll be in the running for an invite to NY. Sucks that injury derailed him this year, but he's going to get a nice fat rookie contract next spring, so it doesn't suck that much.

Hurts hasn't done anything that is Heisman worthy.

How would you compare this LSU OL to last year's?

Fournette's out of it and Hurts never was in it. Get real.

This.

There are only a few from the SEC with a chance, albeit a very small one. Jonathan Allen and Kam Pettway are notable ones.

The best shot he has at having a big impact is getting to over 100 all purpose yards. He has to be involved in the passing game, and not just on passes in the flats and screens.

Good question. They've shuffled around so much due to injuries, it's hard to say. The lineup with Pocic moved to T and Dodd at C is probably better and more ideal vs Bama than what we had last year. A guy Pocic's size isn't ideal at C against anyone, but we saw it's even worse against Bama.

After a week off and getting Wheathersby back, they may be better than we've seen all year, but whether it will be enough to make a difference vs Bama, who knows? We'll see on Saturday.

Hurts would have to put up mind blowing stats in every game for the rest of the year to win the Heisman. Fournette could, but I doubt it.

Fournette and Hurts both have more of a chance than Kam Pettway. Hurts is 5th on Bovada and Fournette is Fournette.
